Why stay with the contact lenses?

Patients undergoing lasik surgery can stay away from their contact lenses completely once treatment is done. These days the treatment is routine and patients normally do not encounter any complications after surgery is done. A large number of people state that their new vision exceed the common 20/20 after being treated.

Don´t forget that lasik surgery can not be applied to eliminate presbyopia. If you are a presbyopia patient, you would need to retreat to glasses even if you would get a lasik treatment.

Usually the lasik treatment is somewhat costly. However, taking into account the ongoing payments for contact lenses, the treatment will eventually even out the upfront investment over the years.
